Working With Media and Police

To prevent and respond to child labor, NGOs may need to form partnerships with nontraditional actors including media institutions. Media play a key role in the portrayal of child labor, coverage of enterprises that contract child labor, and ultimately inform public sentiment on the topic. Meanwhile, police are often charged with responding to child labor but may require additional training to do so effectively. The resources in this section discuss how to work with both.
