The Care and Protection of Children (CPC) Learning Network was founded in 2005 as a response to a need for more rigorous measurement of the evolving field of child protection in emergencies.
Supporting leadership in the Global South is essential for effective policy and practice on child well-being. Our partners’ research is the center of our work.
We strive to build a stronger evidence base that helps address emerging challenges and inspire action. Our extensive resource hub has our latest learnings and recommendations on re-envisioning child well-being.
We strive to learn from our successes and failures. Our work has increasingly aimed to engage diverse perspectives, ask the challenging questions, and confront critically unaddressed topics that help us to truly re-envision approaches to child well-being.
The Care and Protection of Children (CPC) Learning Network Secretariat is housed in Columbia University’s Program on Forced Migration and Health (PFMH) in New York, USA. PFMH sits within the Heilbrunn Department of Population and Family Health(HDPFH) in the Mailman School of Public Health (MSPH).
