Codes of conduct

The Code of Conduct is an important legal agreement between a contractor and employee, but also an educational opportunity regarding what is prohibited conduct and any requirements to report breaches of the code. Codes of Conduct are much less effective when regarded as perfunctory or a box-ticking exercise. Children should be considered when drafting Codes of Conduct, and project workers should sign Codes of Conduct following training that discusses the Code's purpose. See below for resources on effective Codes of Conduct.
